Our story: Piggies Paradise began in 2018 when Jolene, a lifelong guinea pig lover, realized just how overlooked these small animals often are.
She saw the need for someone to advocate for their proper care, safe homes, and loving families. What started in her home with just a few piggies
quickly grew into a true mission.
By 2020, Piggies Paradise moved into its own building, allowing us to expand and rescue even more guinea pigs in need. Along the way, Jolene
met incredible people who offered guidance, support, and encouragement, helping shape Piggies Paradise into what it is today.
In January 2025, Piggies Paradise officially became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization- the largest guinea pig rescue in Southwest Iowa. We are proud
to consistently pass surprise inspections with flying colors, earning compliments for the cleanliness and quality of care we provide.
At Piggies Paradise, we know that animal care is always evolving, and we are committed to continuing our education to provide the very best for every
guinea pig that comes through our doors.

Jolene- Founder and Director
Jolene's lifelong love for guinea pigs inspired the creation of Piggies Paradise. With her vision and dedication, she has built a safe haven for guinea pigs in need and continues to lead the
rescue with compassion and care.
Caleigh- Manager
Caleigh keeps Piggies Paradise running smoothly behind the scenes and in the community. From helping with adoptions and organizing events and fundraisers to designing merchandise
and our logo, she makes sure every little detail supports the rescue's mission and helps us reach more piggies in need.
